Lee Yoon Jin Reveals She Hasn’t Seen Her Son Since Her Divorce Proceedings

The legal representative of translator Lee Yoon Jin, currently in a divorce lawsuit with actor Lee Beom Soo, has revealed their situation.

According to OSEN on March 25, Lee Yoon Jin’s legal representative stated, “Everything posted on social media is true,” and revealed that the last time she met with her son was at the end of last year.

On March 23, Lee Yoon Jin claimed on her social media, “I was banned from entering our home in Seoul since the end of last year because my daughter chose to attend middle school abroad. As a person who dared to apply for divorce mediation to the head of the household, I am in a situation where I cannot even enter the house to find undergarments without his approval and surveillance.”

When a commenter asked, “Don’t you know how your son is doing at all?” Lee Yoon Jin replied, “If anyone knows about my son, please DM me.”

Lee Yoon Jin’s representative added, “She is in a situation where she does not know the news of her son because she cannot contact him.”

Lee Yoon Jin’s representative explained the background of the severed mother-son relationship, stating, “Lee Yoon Jin attempted a negotiated divorce with Lee Beom Soo, but it did not go as planned. She applied for divorce mediation, but it was not established because the other party did not attend.”

On the same day, Lee Beom Soo’s agency, Y1 Entertainment, officially stated, “Lee Beom Soo is in the process of divorce mediation after receiving an application from Lee Yoon Jin. This is a part of the actor’s personal life, and the agency is not intervening or asking for detailed understanding out of respect.”

Regarding Lee Yoon Jin’s claims, the agency said, “There are many parts in the posts Lee Yoon Jin uploaded on social media that differ from the truth. We will not respond to each one, and Lee Beom Soo will respond in court.”

Lee Yoon Jin and Lee Beom Soo married in 2010 and have a son and a daughter. Lee Yoon Jin currently resides in Bali, Indonesia, with her daughter, attending an international school, while Lee Beom Soo lives in Seoul with their son.
