Powerful enough to run your favorite PC and console games
Apple unveiled its new products, including the iPhone 15 series, at the Wonderlust event held at Apple Park in Cupertino, California, on the 12th (local time). There is a lot of interest in the Pro and Pro Max models, which have elevated the dimensions of mobile phones.
The iPhone 15 series consists of the 6.1-inch (15.4cm) base model, the 6.7-inch (17.0cm) Plus model, the 6.1-inch Pro model, and the 6.7-inch Pro Max model, just like the previous models.
The prices start at $799 for the base model (128GB), $899 for the Plus model (128GB), $999 for the Pro model (128GB), and $1199 for the Pro Max model (256GB), which are the same as last year.
Finally, they have introduced the ‘USB-C’ charging port. This is the first time USB-C is being applied to the iPhone.
The base model and the Plus model are equipped with the Dynamic Island introduced by the premium model of the iPhone 14 last year. As a result, the ‘notch’ has completely disappeared. These models feature the A16 Bionic chip, which has been praised for its performance in the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max.
The 48-megapixel main camera, which supports 2x optical zoom, has enhanced portrait photography capabilities and automatically adjusts the depth.
The most prominent feature of the Pro and Pro Max premium models is that they are equipped with titanium cases. Apple announced that they had achieved their lightest lineup with the titanium case, made of premium alloy used in spacecraft.
The premium models have the industry’s first 3-nanometer chip, the A17 Pro. It enhances mobile gaming performance, allowing users to enjoy games that were previously only available on PCs and consoles.
The camera features have also been greatly enhanced. The Pro model supports 3x optical zoom, while the Pro Max model supports 5x optical zoom.
Apple also unveiled the Apple Watch 9, equipped with the ‘Double Tap’ feature that allows users to operate the device with their index and thumb fingers. Users can activate functions such as making calls and muting notifications by tapping the index and thumb fingers on the Apple Watch. The price is $399.
The Apple Watch Ultra 2 was also unveiled. It has Apple’s most powerful watch chip, the ‘S9 SiP’. It allows users to find lost iPhones using the ‘Precision Search’ feature and dramatically enhances durability, making it usable even in extreme exploration environments such as climbing—$ 799.
In addition, Apple also unveiled the ‘AirPods Pro 2nd Generation’ with a USB-C charging port.
