Italian luxury car manufacturer Maserati unveils super sports car MC20 Notte
A model that perfectly embodies the roots of the supercar… with added luxury
On the 8th (local time), Italian luxury car manufacturer Maserati released the first limited edition model of the super sports car MC20, the ‘MC20 Notte’. The MC20 Notte Edition is a limited edition model commemorating the bold spirit that has continuously developed Maserati from the day it first participated in the most legendary race in Maserati’s history.
The MC20, which combines sportiness and luxury to celebrate Maserati’s return to its supercar roots, has now become even closer to the racing spirit as the Notte Edition. The Notte Edition is a model limited to only 50 units worldwide, reflecting a design inspired by the mysterious and powerful force of darkness. The MC20 Notte is captivating, like a beast howling in the darkness, and further highlights the performance of the already outstanding V6 Nettuno engine.
The Maserati Fuoriserie team, inspired by the fascinating racing world, collaborated with Andrea Bertolini to design the MC20 Notte body. Andrea Bertolini is a Maserati reference driver and former GT1 world champion of Maserati. As a result, the exterior of the MC20 Notte transformed into a magnetic matte ‘nero essenza’ shade that shines in the dark from a glossy black shadow. Thanks to Bertolini’s ‘Midas touch,’ details such as the trident, side logo, and Maserati signature changed from silver to matte white gold, reviving Maserati’s glorious motorsport history.
Klaus Busse, Head of Maserati Design, said, “‘Fuoriserie’ means ‘custom-made’ in Italian, and Maserati’s Trident customization program was designed to create unique moving works of art for customers. The MC20 Notte combines the best performance and Italian elegance with the mystery of the night world to celebrate the thrill of racing and the charm of the night. This is the first Fuoriserie limited edition model of the MC20, and it was created for super sports car collectors and track enthusiasts.”
In celebration of the launch of the Maserati MC20 Notte Edition, a charming short film featuring global brand ambassador and MC20 enthusiast David Beckham and Andrea Bertolini was released. In the short film, the dazzling MC20, driven by Beckham, is reborn as a new racing life form that burns throughout the night across the city and race track.
