U.S. President Joe Biden, who is pushing for a transition to clean energy, has expressed his fondness for the Korean wind tower manufacturing company CS Wind.
On the 4th (local time), President Biden singled out a worker he met during his visit to CS Wind last month in a post on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), writing, “Tony, because of workers like you and the hundreds of employees at CS Wind, America is changing.”
He added, “Instead of exporting jobs, companies from around the world are creating jobs here in America and exporting American-made products. We are moving.” The post also included a video featuring CS Wind workers.
On the 29th of last month, President Biden visited the CS Wind factory in Pueblo, Colorado.
At the time, President Biden emphasized that CS Wind is a Korean company that makes wind towers and turbines. He stated that thanks to his commitment to the future of clean energy and American manufacturing, clean energy companies have started investing in Colorado.
Meanwhile, during his factory visit, President Biden made a mistake by mistakenly referring to President Yoon Suk Yeol as former President Moon Jae In.
