As former U.S. First Lady Melania Trump has disappeared from the public eye following the election campaign of her husband former President Donald Trump, several speculations have emerged.
On the 25th (local time) the British daily ‘The Telegraph’ reported that Melania’s whereabouts are currently the biggest ‘mystery’ among the residents of Palm Beach Florida, where the couple resides. This is largely because Melania is rarely seen outside of Mar-a-Lago Club a membership resort owned by former President Trump and their current residence located in Palm Beach.
Laurence Leamer a longtime resident of Palm Beach and author of a book about Mar-a-Lago said, “No one knows where Melania is. She’s like a mystery.” Leamer mentioned that Melania was frequently seen at the beauty salon in Mar-a-Lago before she became the First Lady. However recently, she has not revealed herself in any public places in Palm Beach. He added “Melania rarely comes out of Mar-a-Lago. She is living a strange and isolated life there.”
Flyers were distributed earlier this year to find Melania
Earlier this year, flyers were distributed in Iowa looking for Melania. The missing flyer featured a picture of Melania with the question “Have you seen this woman?” It also included the phrases, “Where is our First Lady. Why is Trump hiding her. We miss her,” along with the phone number for the Mar-a-Lago security office.
There has been speculation within Palm Beach that Melania’s disappearance is related to her desire to protect her youngest son Barron who is the only child of her and Trump. An anonymous source claimed, “Melania wants to fiercely protect Barron,” and suggested that even if Trump is re-elected as president, there is a possibility that Melania will not move back into the White House.
Leamer also said, “Melania wants to protect her son,” and added, “If Trump returns to the White House, Barron, who will be an adult will be in the news.”
Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, a businesswoman who was friends with Melania but fell out with her and later wrote a revealing book about her, told ‘The Washington Post’, “Melania always said she would do what she wants to do.” Wolkoff predicted that Melania would not be swayed by external pressure to play the role of a presidential candidate’s wife or First Lady.
