Can’t Lose Belly Fat Despite Eating Less? Eat More of This!

inews24 Views

Struggling to drop that stubborn belly fat, no matter how much you diet? Try eating three balanced meals a day.

Obesity has become common among modern people, with many suffering from abdominal obesity characterized by a protruding belly.

Obesity is a common problem in modern society. Among them, most people suffer from abdominal obesity, marked by a noticeably protruding belly.

The root cause of abdominal obesity is the accumulation of fat within the viscera. When we consume food, it is converted into glucose, serving as an energy source. The leftover glucose turns into fat and accumulates in the body, initially under the skin. When the capacity for fat reaches its limit, extra fat finds its place between the organs, leading to abdominal obesity.

When people start gaining belly fat, they usually try to eat less. However, this method of dieting does not help get rid of abdominal obesity. Instead, eating three healthy meals a day is the key to staying away from abdominal obesity.

The worst dietary habit for abdominal obesity is consuming foods high in sugar. It’s problematic that many people skip meals to lose weight and satiate their hunger with sugary snacks. This is the worst possible dietary habit.

Common snacks like sodas, chocolates, candies, and cookies contain a lot of sugars like glucose, fructose, liquid fructose, and sucrose. These high-sugar, low-fiber foods hardly provide a feeling of fullness.

Upon ingestion, the bonded sugars in carbonated drinks and snacks are easily digested by enzymes, resulting in a rapid spike in blood sugar levels.

On the other hand, foods rich in fiber like grains and vegetables have a carbohydrate structure that is not easily digested by enzymes from the digestive organs. Therefore, they provide a longer satiety and slow down the release of glucose into the blood.

The same goes for bread. In the East, grains like rice are typically consumed in their whole form. However, wheat, which is used to make bread, is typically ground into flour. This process removes the dietary fiber in the grain, leaving only carbohydrates. Furthermore, the carbohydrates in flour are digested and absorbed very quickly.

For this reason, rice is less fattening than bread, noodles, and snacks that contain flour. Therefore, if you replace bread, carbonated drinks, and snacks with a well-balanced Korean meal, you can say goodbye to that stubborn belly fat.
