Realistic Renderings Based on K4 Teaser Images

On the 15th, Kia unveiled the teaser images for the K4, the full-change model of the K3. This change comes six years after the release of the second-generation model. Given the aging model, the existing K3’s marketability was disappointing, raising hopes that the new K4 will emerge as a competitor to the Avante.
Spy shots of the K4 prototype undergoing test drives have been confirmed several times, and the design outline, which was revealed as part of the side, was exposed in the teaser images. In the meantime, the realistic renderings based on the teaser video have been released and are a topic of discussion among netizens.
A Longer Wheelbase
Door Handles Moved to the C-Pillar
The renderings, designed by New York Mammoth, a domestic new car rendering expert YouTuber, are very realistic as they are based on the teaser images. The K4 is expected to have a size that can compete with mid-size cars as the wheelbase will be longer, and the overall width will be wider than the current K3.
Despite being larger than before, the car lowered and gained a sleek image with the fastback roofline. The second-row handles on the door have been moved to the C-pillar, making the side smoother and emphasizing the stylish character line. The character line narrows into a Y-shape at the rear and splits into top and bottom at the front.

Sharp Design Stands Out
The character lines add volume, making the front and rear fender parts more prominent. The beltline rises in a triangular shape from the rear quarter glass. As a result, the rear quarter glass becomes a narrower trapezoidal shape, achieving a sporty design together with the lowered roofline.
A triangular-shaped body connects between the rear quarter glass and the rear glass. The sharp triangular and Y-shaped designs applied in various places on the side create a sharp image. Even though not fully seen, the front shows T-shaped daytime running lights. It was designed elegantly, using Kia’s Starmap Signature design.
K4, a Local Power Model
No Plans for Domestic Release
The design applies an appropriate length of straight lines formed horizontally and vertically, with a detail that breaks once vertically. The rear fender’s design also changed following the line of the DRL. The rear fender is sharply recessed into the inside of the DRL, while the bonnet parting line draws a smooth curve, extending upwards with the horizontal DRL. The overall sleek design and wide body create perfect harmony.
According to a Kia official, the K4 is known as a strategic model focused on overseas markets. Although there are no plans for domestic sales yet, many consumers want the release of the K4 as the discontinuation of the K3 is scheduled.
