The vehicle in the images resembles the Palisade, but the front mimics Sonata the Edge, and the rear does the New Elantra, creating an absurdly comical appearance. The static straight lines of the Palisade design mixed with the radical front and rear designs should look unnatural to anyone.
YouTuber Digimode created this virtual design prediction of the new Hyundai Palisade. Hyundai announced in January that it was preparing a new Palisade, and this design was developed based on that news. Therefore, it differs significantly from the appearance of the new Palisade in the spy shots. Hence, the possibility of this design being adopted is virtually zero.

If you look closely at the rendering, it uses many straight lines like the current Palisade, but the front has been completely redesigned. Vertical headlamps have been applied, while seamless horizontal daytime running lights are divided into three rows per headlamp.
The rear also maintains the overall framework while changing the detailed design. The tailgate line falls almost vertically, but the rear glass part is pushed inward, giving an accent. The tail lamps, which determine the impression of the rear, follow the concept of the headlamps, applying an H-shaped pattern to create a unified look.

Although most of it is still covered in camouflage, making it impossible to determine the exact design, doesn’t the design rendering from Stubio seem reasonable? Additionally, the overall appearance of the Palisade appears to be inspired by the design of its subordinate model, the Santa Fe.
Meanwhile, the current Palisade is sold with two powertrains: a 2,199-cc inline 4-cylinder diesel specification and a 3,778-cc gasoline specification. The 2.2-liter diesel delivers 202 horsepower and 45 kg-m of torque, while the 3.8-liter gasoline delivers 295 horsepower and 36.2 kg-m of torque. The new Palisade is expected to debut in 2025, and being a full-change model, its powertrain is likely to undergo significant changes.
