The industry is shaking with the news that Tesla, an American electric vehicle manufacturer, is preparing a surprise unveiling of the Model 3 Ludicrous, the successor to the Model 3 Performance. It is said that Model 3 Ludicrous was recently discovered wearing camouflage in front of Tesla headquarters.
Model 3 Ludicrous is a model that has been much talked about as to whether it will be released with the Ludicrous badge attached. In this capture, the issue is said to have been resolved smoothly. The Model 3 Ludicrous, discovered with its camouflage removed, kept its badge like the previously unveiled prototype model.
Several vehicles were found in front of the Tesla headquarters
On April 1, a photo was posted showing vehicles wearing camouflage parked in front of Tesla headquarters. Considering the color of the vehicle, it was presumed to be the Model 3 Ludicrous, which Tesla had announced for launch. Soon after, a photo was released showing the Model 3 Ludicrous parked in front of a Tesla car dealership without camouflage.
Through these photos, the Ludicrous Badge, which had previously become a hot topic, was revealed. This badge appears in the movie Space Balls, a Star Wars parody. It is the fastest speed at which it can move, so many people are curious about the specifications of the Model 3 Ludicrous.
It uses the same 4D2 Rear Motor as the Model S
The Model 3 Ludicrous will be found with the curtain removed and is expected to be equipped with unique bucket seats, various driving modes, adaptive suspension, and special wheels. It has almost become a reality to be launched with the signature Ludicrous badge attached. Tesla is expected to maintain a dual-motor setup for the Model 3 Ludicrous, which will likely use the same 4D2 rear motor as the Model S.
If the 4D2 rear motor is used, it is expected to produce 618 horsepower (460 kW). This figure is much higher than that of the top model of the BMW M3, which produces 543 horsepower (404 kW). Although performance has improved significantly compared to the previous model, the Model 3 Ludicrous’s weight remains the same as the previous model, at 1,855 kg ( 4,089.5 lbs).
Designed by Tesla’s chief designer, Franz von Holzhausen
Tesla previously announced that the Model 3 Ludicrous would have an 82 kWh battery. The battery is expected to provide a driving range of approximately 430 km (267 miles). Additionally, Tesla claimed that the Model 3 Ludicrous accelerates to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.1 seconds.
Meanwhile, the Model 3 Ludicrous was not the only vehicle parked in front of Tesla headquarters. Tesla’s chief designer, Franz von Holzhausen, also discovered and ignited a Cybertruck. There are rumors that a new model of the Tesla Cybertruck may also be launched along with the Model 3 Ludicrous.
