Unveils changes to Plus 4
Incorporates latest features
Founded in 1910, Morgan, a UK sports car manufacturer, has remained a purebred brand for over a century without being absorbed by other brands. It has been cited as a classic example of Neo-Retro, maintaining its old-school design while incorporating modern technology promptly.
Morgan unveiled the partial change model of its leading sports car, the Plus 4, on the 10th (local time). While the original design, introduced in 1950, remains unchanged, the latest technology has been applied to meet European safety and environmental regulations.

The new Plus 4 features a minimalist exterior that reduces complex design techniques. The vehicle incorporates new lights, wings, splitters, and diffusers, and the area where the license plate is attached has also been minimized. The most noteworthy aspect of this new car’s exterior is the front and rear lights developed by the in-house engineering team.
The diameter of the round headlights increased by 1 inch compared to the previous model, returning to proportions closer to the original after transitioning from a wooden subframe to a CX-generation aluminum platform in 2020. The new headlights feature modern design graphics for the DRL and turn signals, providing a brighter view.
Significant improvements to the audio system
Side mirrors also completely changed.
The interior has changed as much as possible while maintaining the existing layout. Both the side mirrors and room mirrors are new aluminum designs, and they have undergone rigorous testing to ensure no functional or design flaws. The LCD screen in the center of the instrument panel and the dashboard have also undergone minor improvements, and new interior lighting has been applied.
The audio system features a lightweight product from Sennheiser. Speakers have been added under both seats, and the door speakers have been upgraded to higher specifications. The Bluetooth connectivity range has also been improved to provide a more pleasant audio experience. More extensive audio control is now possible with the existing volume control dial, including pause and skip functions.
Suspension options added
Custom orders are standard
The new Plus 4, as the name suggests, is equipped with a 4-cylinder engine. The 2.0L engine supplied by BMW powers the rear wheels through a manual or automatic transmission. A retuned suspension with adjusted spring ratios and damper valves provides more dynamic handling performance. The optional Dynamic Handling Pack was developed in collaboration with suspension specialist Nitron, allowing for the adjustment of damper and spring settings and the addition of a rear anti-roll bar.
Morgan doesn’t have a bespoke department like Rolls-Royce and Bentley, as all models are crafted by skilled artisans, making custom orders the norm. Therefore, customers can reflect their design preferences by requesting additional features and choosing colors and materials. Morgan emphasizes that nearly unlimited combinations are possible, allowing customers to create a one-of-a-kind car.
