Pininfarina Unveils New Lineup Inspired by Batman
Battista B95 Model Revealed

Pininfarina, an automobile design company known as one of the three kings of Italian automobile design, recently became a hot topic by unveiling a new lineup of vehicles inspired by Batman.

Pininfarina revealed the B95 and Battista, which are said to be available in Dark Knight and Gotham trims. The two vehicles attracted the attention of many people because they resembled the Batmobile, the car that Batman rides.

Argento Vittorio Gloss Paint and Nero Torino Roof

The Battista model in Gotham trim is painted in Argento Vittorio gloss paint. It features a Nero Torino roof. In addition, it is said to be equipped with lights that backlight Pininfarina’s iconic logo, and the body is finished with brushed and polished anodized aluminum.

The Gotham trim Battista is equipped with 20-inch and 21-inch alloy wheels. The matte black rim created Batman’s unique, noble atmosphere. The Gotham trim’s B95 wheels closely matched the Battista’s wheels, featuring a matte black inner ring and a glossy black outer ring.

Aerodynamically Adjusted Vehicles Can Generate 1,900 Horsepower

The Battista and B95 models in the Dark Knight trim have Nero Profondo exterior color applied. The same Nero Torino roof as the Gotham trim was installed. In addition, it is said to be equipped with the same ceramic glossy rims as the Gotham trim. Battista and B95 are fitted with four electric motors generating 1,900 horsepower and a 120.0 kWh lithium-ion battery that powers the electric motors.

Battista and B95 are fast enough to accelerate to 100 km/h (62 mph) in less than 2 seconds. Both vehicles received aerodynamic adjustments, including a new tailgate, louver opening, and rear carbon wing. Additionally, the side skirts and roof are said to have the logo of Wayne Enterprises, a company owned by Bruce Wayne (Batman).

The vehicle’s interior was finished in tan leather for the Gotham trim. Bespoke center panel quilting and tan stitching were characteristic. The Dark Knight trim was finished in black Alcantara and leather. The design is accented with contrasting black and gold stitching. The indoor display also has a guidance voice function modeled after Batman’s butler Alfred Pennyworth.

Pininfarina did not reveal the cost of the two vehicles. However, Battista is expected to start at around $2.2 million, and B95 will begin at around $4.84 million. Pininfarina unveiled the Battista and B95 on a site created in collaboration with Warner Bros. This film company developed Wayne Enterprises and announced its plans to introduce the vehicles to a few people this summer.
