At 42, Song Hye Kyo boasts a radiant and smooth complexion, maintaining a youthful appearance like someone in their 20s.
On May 17th, the fashion magazine Harper’s Bazaar unveiled the June cover featuring Song Hye Kyo in collaboration with Chaumet. As an ambassador and muse for Chaumet, Song Hye Kyo participated in a photoshoot adorned with the high jewelry collection, revealing her timeless beauty.
The contrasting styles of the “supernatural” and “dress-up” are the highlights of this photoshoot, encapsulating the everyday nature of high jewelry. Song Hye Kyo exhibited a captivating presence in the photo shoot with her natural and elegant attitude, leaving everyone in awe. Notably, Bazaar Korea launched a special project with Song Hye Kyo for the entire June issue, where she unfolded her ageless face from her girlhood to womanhood, perfectly digesting various concepts and earning applause from the staff on set.
Following the shoot, she stated in the interview, “I don’t feel burdened about aging in front of the camera. It’s a natural process. I strive to appear a bit slower than my actual age, but I don’t want to push against the natural flow of time forcibly. I believe you can’t just look young while aging. Rather, as you age, your makeup should become lighter and your clothes simpler to be more stylish.”
Regarding her previous work, The Glory, Song Hye Kyo confessed, “During the filming of The Glory, I didn’t have time for myself as Song Hye Kyo. I lived entirely as Moon Dong Eun while shooting almost daily for seven months. The void was immense after the project ended. It was an emotionally draining drama, and the character experienced human pain, which made it harder. It took quite a while, but I have fully let go of Dong Eun.”
She also shared her expectations for the movie Dark Nuns, currently in production, “It’s a story about two nuns struggling to save a child possessed by an evil spirit. It’s also a women’s film led by women. The occult genre is significant in post-production. Since I’m acting imagining the parts where CG will be added, I’m excited about how the completed work will feel.”
The photoshoot and interview featuring Song Hye Kyo and Chaumet are in the June issue of Bazaar Korea. Bazaar’s social media will also release content such as fashion films and YouTube videos.
