Miku Tanaka, a former member of HKT48, is turning heads with her candid discussion about what she wants to do if she gets a boyfriend.
On June 4, Tanaka appeared on the Japanese TV show Ueda and Women Bark Deeply at Night. Akari Suda, a former member of SKE48, joined her as they exchanged opinions on the subject of women who can’t date.
Tanaka, who revealed she’s never been in a relationship, said, “I want to kiss. I want to kiss, I want to hug, and if necessary, I want to sleep together.” She admitted that while she’s had these thoughts, she’s never actually kissed anyone.
Suda replied, “We’re not all here today because we’ve never kissed,” and confessed, “I may not have dating experience, but I do have kissing experience.”
The two also touched on fan meet-and-greets, as they both hail from idol groups. Tanaka expressed her feelings of betrayal, saying, “Don’t the fans often come to the handshake events? There was a time when a fan stood in someone else’s line the next day. I thought to myself, ‘I thought you were a fan who only supports me.'”
She was hurt enough to ask the fan, “Didn’t you say you only support me?” Tanaka said, “I got a reply like, ‘Do you only eat hamburgers? Just like I eat various meals, I go around eating a different menu.'”
Tanaka was annoyed with the comparison to food, recalling her anger at the fan’s response. Suda, while understanding Tanaka’s feelings, pointed out coldly, “The fans are also paying money.”
Tanaka debuted through HKT48 in 2013 and graduated from the group last December. She is now focusing on her career as a gravure idol.
Suda debuted through SKE48 in 2009 and graduated from the group in 2022. She currently appears on various entertainment programs, earning much love from viewers with her witty sense of humor.
