The controversy surrounding BTS member Suga’s drunk driving incident continues to develop, yet he has recently appeared in advertisements.

Samsung Deutschland posted promotional photos of Suga on their official account over two days, on the 15th and 16th.

On the 15th, they shared a photo of Suga holding their product with the caption, “Me trying to take a picture of my favorite celebrity secretly. #SUGA.” The following day, they posted an advertisement featuring BTS members Suga, RM, and Jimin, asking, “Who showcases the product best?” to prompt voting.

The advertisement posts garnered over 500,000 views, leading some to question the appropriateness of featuring Suga amid his ongoing DUI scandal.

Despite this, many fans continue to show unwavering support for Suga.

While some criticize the advertisement, others remain supportive of Suga.

Earlier, on the night of the 6th, Suga was found by police after falling from an electric scooter on a street in Hannam-dong, Yongsan District, Seoul. He was taken to a nearby police station for a breathalyzer test, which revealed a blood alcohol concentration of 0.227%, significantly above the legal limit of 0.08%.

Suga and his agency, Big Hit Music, issued an apology. However, the controversy grew when they mistakenly referred to the vehicle as an electric kickboard instead of an electric scooter. This led to criticism due to the different legal penalties associated with each type of vehicle.
