The Sting Cybertruck, modified from Tesla’s original design
Can withstand improvised explosives and landmines
It has officially launched
Tesla’s Cybertruck was a hot topic even before its launch because of its unique appearance. It has an angular body shape with steel panels, but its appearance isn’t the only thing that shows its strength. CEO Elon Musk has emphasized that the Cybertruck can survive the apocalypse.
Tesla has showcased the Cybertruck’s durability by demonstrating that its steel panels can withstand bullets from a 9 mm Glock pistol and that its glass windows remain intact even when struck by a metal ball. Despite these impressive features, the Cybertruck has been surrounded by controversy since its launch.
Civilians can purchase it to prepare for war or disaster situations
Contrary to Musk’s claims that the Cybertruck can survive disasters or the world’s end, vehicles have been stuck on snowy roads or stopped while crossing a river. Amidst all the controversy, a new version of the Cybertruck has emerged—a fully outfitted survival model designed to withstand extreme conditions, including potential end-of-the-world scenarios and major disasters.
The Sting Cybertruck, a new vehicle designed for extreme conditions, has been launched in the U.S. This modified version of the Cybertruck results from a collaboration between Archimedes Defense, known for its work on aircraft, boats, and vehicles, and Up.Fit is a company specializing in Tesla customizations. The Sting Cybertruck is tailored for use as a government or military vehicle and is also suitable for civilian purposes, especially for those preparing for apocalyptic scenarios.
Buyers must pass a strict screening process
The vehicle will include a generator in the trunk
However, if an individual wants to purchase one, they must pass the company’s strict screening criteria. The Sting Cybertruck comes in three trims: Baja, Protector, and APC. The Baja trim is designed for civilian use and features an off-road pack and an AMP Drive 800V generator mounted in the frunk (Cargo space under the vehicle hood) that can run on jet fuel, diesel, or biodiesel.
The Sting Cybertruck addresses the Cybertruck’s inherent limitation of relying solely on existing electricity for charging. Designed for use in disaster scenarios where charging might be challenging, this modified vehicle can operate independently. It features a generator that allows the Cybertruck’s battery to charge up to 125 kW and can also charge other electric cars.
With an off-road package and armored plating
The vehicle’s exterior design has become even tougher
The Sting Cybertruck’s exterior differs significantly from the standard model. With the Protector trim, the vehicle features removable steel armor plates and an off-road package. According to Up.Fit, these armor plates offer bulletproof protection against 7.62 mm assault rifle rounds. The Protector trim is designed for both private and government use.
In contrast, the APC trim is tailored for high-threat environments. It provides enhanced protection against explosions from improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and land mines. The APC trim includes ceramic-plated armor on the hull to safeguard against such threats and protection from fire from 14.5 mm heavy machine guns.
