New Palisade set to launch later this year
The final design render has been revealed before its release
Highlighting a more luxurious design transformation
The fully redesigned Hyundai Palisade (LX3) is expected to hit the market by the end of this year. As the launch approaches, test vehicles have been spotted on the road, revealing key design elements, including the headlights and daytime running lights. Based on these sightings, renderings of the new Palisade have emerged, capturing significant attention.
These renderings, created from detailed front views, offer a vivid and lifelike preview of the new model. The design emphasizes a luxurious and robust look, aligning with its status as a flagship SUV. It features a boxy, traditional SUV style reminiscent of the new Santa Fe.
Large Grille with Black Metal Material and Horizontal Chrome Accents
New York Mammoth, a well-known YouTuber specializing in car renderings, produced a front view of the Palisade. This rendering showcases a prominent black-metal grille adorned with horizontal chrome accents, enhancing its premium appearance. It also accurately depicts the vertical headlights seen on the test vehicle.
The pixel-style daytime running lights (DRLs) on either side of the headlights are segmented into five distinct parts. These DRLs are designed with sharp, angular lines extending horizontally, giving them a bolder and more striking presence than previous models. Integrating the segmented DRLs with the headlights and grille results in a cohesive and refined look.
Large Grille with Black Metal and Horizontal Chrome Accents
The new Hyundai Palisade’s redesigned front grille features a center-positioned lamp, significantly departing from previous designs. Recent spy shots have revealed a hint of light through the camouflage, suggesting a seamless horizon lamp integrated into the grille. Unlike older models like the Grandeur and Kona, where lamps were positioned along the upper edge of the bonnet, the new Palisade places the lamp across the grille.
The grille will feature chrome garnishes for non-black ink variants that follow its layout. An insulating strip in black high gloss will be positioned between the grille and bumper, with body color likely applied depending on the trim level. The lower bumper grille will include active air flaps and will be finished with the same chrome and black metal as the grille, enhancing both functionality and visual harmony.
Cube-shaped taillight Graphics and a Sturdy Rear Diffuser
Rear renderings suggest further updates, including a seamless horizon lamp integrated into the rear design. The rear taillights feature six segmented square modules with dual-layered graphics where the inner modules function as turn signals.
Additionally, a color-matched line extends from the side skirt to the top of the rear bumper. The rear bumper features pixel reflectors and a substantial rear diffuser, contributing to a robust appearance. This rendering aligns with the style of large pickup trucks and SUVs popular in the North American market, indicating Hyundai’s strategy to appeal to international buyers.
