2PM’s Lee Junho revealed that the resurgence of his hit song “My House” has increased fans’ visits to his residence, sharing some unexpected consequences of the song’s popularity.

He appeared as a guest on the web variety show Salon Drip 2.

The title track from 2PM’s fifth studio album, “My House,” has returned, earning Lee Junho the playful nickname My House Junho. He shared, “I really value my home. I prefer to be alone when I’m resting, so I don’t invite anyone over. I only go to my own home.”

He continued, “Since ‘My House’ has been doing so well, I keep hearing people say they want to come to my house. One night at 3 AM, my doorbell rang—not the intercom for the building, but my front doorbell. I woke up feeling scared. I needed to know who it was to feel at ease, so I picked up the intercom and asked, ‘Who is it?’ They just kind of dodged the question and left.”

“One day, after coming home from work, I heard someone call out ‘Oppa’ just before the sensor lights turned on. A fan from another country said, ‘Oppa, it’s me. You told me to come home, right?’ I was so surprised that I directed them to my manager. It made me realize how powerful music can be.”

Now celebrating his 16th anniversary since debut, Lee Junho has committed himself to self-discipline, waking up every day at 5:20 AM to maintain his routine. He shared, “I had my moments too, like when the phrase ‘The round sun has risen, and it’s crazy again’ was trending. Back then, I set my alarm to the line ‘Wake up, Doohan!’ from The Age of Barbarians, and that’s how I got up.” This confession drew laughter from host Jang Do Youn.

Since his military discharge, Lee Junho has remained active in both dramas and with 2PM. He said, “I want to rest, but after spending 16 years like this, it feels like this has become my norm. I know I need time to recharge, but I’m struggling with how to manage that.”

Reflecting on his time with 2PM, where he embraced the beast idol persona, he humorously noted, “I actually ripped my pants. I often tore them during intense acrobatics. The other members joked that my butt looked like a duck’s because there wasn’t enough room in the pants.”

He added, “Still, I try to avoid ripping my clothes, but there are some enthusiastic members. For instance, Ok Taecyeon once decided to rip his shirt all the way to the chest, and he ended up tearing it completely. I’ve ripped so many clothes over the years that I don’t do it as much anymore. I’m more careful now,” he joked.

Recognized for his exemplary contributions, Lee Junho has become Associate Director of Competition Collaboration at JYP Entertainment. He shared, “In 2018, I asked for this title because I wanted to be a role model for my juniors. Since we are the most senior group at JYP, the company hoped that we would set a good example.” He smiled, “I have the title, but I’m not receiving any payment as a director.”
