Actress Han So Hee recently acquired a penthouse valued at 5.24 billion won (approximately $3.8 million), navigating various challenges along the way. According to Herald Economy, she purchased the penthouse in August in the Achuil Village area of Guri, Gyeonggi Province.
The penthouse is part of a villa-style complex completed in May of the previous year. It features two basement levels and four above-ground floors, and there are only eight units in total.
Han So Hee’s new penthouse is the largest among the eight units. It boasts a duplex design with four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a loft, and a rooftop terrace. Notable neighbors include fellow celebrities Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin, Park Jin Young, and Oh Yeon Seo. Achiu Village is conveniently located just a 10-minute drive from Walkerhill Hotel.
Her previous home is just 200 meters (0.12 miles) away from her new penthouse. In 2021, she purchased that property for 1.95 billion won (approximately $1.4 million), paying the total amount in cash.
However, Han So Hee faced a challenging year in 2024, marked by controversies surrounding her personal life. After rumors of her relationship with Ryu Jun Yeol surfaced, an Instagram post by Hye Ri, Ryu Jun Yeol’s ex-girlfriend, ignited speculation about a potential love triangle. Han So Hee has publicly expressed her anger multiple times, seemingly targeting Hye Ri in her responses.
In September, Han So Hee’s mother was involved in controversy after being arrested for allegedly operating game halls in 12 locations, including Ulsan and Wonju, through a proxy business from 2021 until the end of August. In response, Han So Hee stated, “This matter is a completely personal issue involving my mother,” adding, “I cannot express the devastation I felt upon learning about it through the news.”
