Former LABOUM member Yul Hee has topped the buzz rankings for the fourth week of October.
According to the latest TV-OTT integrated non-drama buzz survey released by Good Data Corporation’s FUNdex, Netflix’s Culinary Class Wars has claimed the top spot for six consecutive weeks. The program has notably maintained its first-place ranking in both the news and Voice Of Netizen (VON) categories, demonstrating its ongoing relevance. Additionally, cast member Anh Sung Jae ranks second in the non-drama cast buzz rankings, while Paik Jong Won is fifth.
In the rankings, Coupang Play’s SNL Korea Season 6 secured second place, while ENA/SBS Plus’s I Am SOLO took third. The latter saw a 19.2% increase in buzz compared to the previous week, concluding its 22nd season in the final third place.
tvN’s You Quiz on the Block is in fourth place, with its buzz increasing by approximately 10% from the previous week, thanks to appearances by 2NE1 and Lee Su Ji. Notably, 2NE1 ranks third in the non-drama cast buzz rankings. Mnet’s Stage Fighter came in fifth, while Rap: Public from Tving and The Iron Squad W from Channel A occupy the sixth and seventh spots, respectively.
Yul Hee, who appeared on All By Myself, topped the non-drama cast buzz rankings. Theow’s exploration of her unexpected divorce garnered significant interest.
The rankings for the fourth week of October, released by Good Data Corporation, include TV non-drama programs and OTT original non-dramas that aired or were scheduled for release between October 21 and October 27. It also covers the cast members and guests appearing on each program.
The buzz survey aims to identify the week’s most competitive program by analyzing program-related information and the reactions from news articles, Voice of Netizen (VON), video content (clips and shorts), and social media. The collected data undergoes a thorough filtering process to eliminate irrelevant information and prevent artificially inflated buzz scores, achieving an accuracy rate of over 97%.
