A post recently surfaced online from a man claiming that he had sponsored 1.6 billion KRW (approximately $1.2 million) over two years to BJ Juice Se Yeon, a popular streamer on the live-streaming platform SOOP (formerly AfreecaTV), only to be blocked by her.
On October 26, the man, known as Passionate President (the top viewer donor), expressed his frustration in a post, saying, “Even when everyone criticized you, and various allegations came to light, I remained loyal and supported your streams. I admit my contributions have decreased, but I also have personal issues. I guess those weren’t important to you.”
He continued, “Is this how it ends when the money runs out? I was your top fan from 2022 to 2024. I stood by you through your boyfriend scandal, the Philippines controversy, and even the recent rumors in the U.S. Did you think I was oblivious? Everyone watching your streams, even other female streamers, knows about us. Is this really how you want things to end?”
Reports suggest that this individual’s total financial assistance to Juice Se Yeon amounted to around 1.6 billion won ($1.2 million).
In August, Juice Se Yeon faced controversy when rumors spread about her being spotted with Bang Si Hyuk, the chairman of the K-pop powerhouse HYBE. At the time, the man, known as Juice Apple Pang Pang, defended her, commenting, “I don’t care who she meets. I’m not Bang Si Hyuk, so stop sending messages about it and mind your own business.”
Following the August sighting, Juice Se Yeon faced heightened scrutiny. When dating rumors emerged, HYBE clarified, stating, “They met by chance at a gathering, and Bang offered advice on dealing with entertainment industry impersonators.” Juice Se Yeon later explained, “It wasn’t a coincidence. My sister and I were asking friends for restaurant recommendations. It was a hard-to-book place, and the chairman kindly helped us out.”
More recently, Juice Se Yeon has been linked to rapper Kim Ha On, known for his appearance on Mnet’s High School Rapper. After her birthday celebration on Sunday, she posted a photo with Kim, captioning it “The best birthday thanks to my loved ones.” However, following the speculation about their relationship, she quickly deleted the post.
Juice Se Yeon has also been involved in past controversies, including rumors about a trip to the Philippines. She addressed these rumors, stating, “I went with two close friends. A typhoon hit so that we couldn’t do much.” She added, “I bought that designer bag myself; it wasn’t even that expensive.”
