Choi Dong Seok, the former KBS announcer who divorced fellow broadcaster Park Ji Yoon, recently gave followers a glimpse into his life with their children. While Park Ji Yoon currently holds full custody of their two kids, it appears that Choi is spending time with them through his visitation rights.

On Friday, Choi posted on his social media channel, sharing a cozy moment of watching Netflix and enjoying ice cream with his children. The accompanying photo showed Choi and his children’s feet as they savored their treats, providing a touching look at their quality time together. The post quickly captured the attention of the public.

Choi and Park, both part of KBS’s 30th class of announcers, married in 2009 and have two children together. However, after announcing their divorce last year, the couple has become embroiled in a contentious legal battle. Following the separation, Choi publicly accused Park of attending a social event while their child was unwell, which sparked a wave of controversy. Park responded, explaining that it had been a charity event, but Choi’s criticism continued. He further stirred the public by making several remarks online, including one questioning whether it was excessive for Park to spend over 45 million won (approximately $32,460) monthly on credit card bills.

The former couple has recently filed mutual lawsuits, continuing the bitter conflict plaguing their divorce proceedings. The situation has intensified with the release of recordings of their private marital disputes, which have only fueled the controversy. Despite widespread speculation, neither party has cited infidelity as the reason for their divorce. Park claims that Choi suffers from pathological jealousy, while Choi accuses Park of emotional infidelity.

In a dramatic turn, allegations of spousal sexual assault have surfaced based on their recorded conversations. This has led to a formal complaint filed with South Korea’s National Petition Center. The Women and Juvenile Division of the Jeju Provincial Police has since investigated the matter. Despite all this turmoil, Park Ji Yoon holds full custody and parental rights over their children.
