Kim So Yeon has officially become the boss of A Virtuous Business after over four years of dedication and hard work.

In Sunday’s final episode of A Virtuous Business, Jeong Suk (played by Kim So Yeon) and the Direct Sales Sisters celebrated a fresh start. After overcoming numerous challenges, they set their sights on new opportunities, marking a pivotal moment in the series.

On this particular day, Do Hyun (played by Yeon Woo Jin), who was about to be transferred to the cold case unit, visited his biological mother, Geum Hee (played by Kim Sung Ryung). Later, Jeong Suk and Do Hyun shared an intimate dinner, during which he confessed his feelings about leaving.

“I’m feeling a bit down,” Do Hyun admitted. “You seem so calm about my departure, but every day has been precious for me. This is the first time in my life I’ve felt this happy and stable.”

Jeong Suk, ever the optimist, responded, “I feel the same way. But I’m staying positive. I’ve decided to focus more on work, so I’m not too upset.” However, it was clear that her words were not entirely honest.

Min Ho later revealed that Jeong Suk had been crying while talking about Do Hyun’s departure the night before, which genuinely showed her emotional struggle.

Jeong Suk had implored Min Ho not to let Do Hyun see her emotional distress earlier. “He’s leaving for an important assignment,” she said. “If we show tears, it’ll only make him feel worse.” She continued, “I’m sad and heartbroken, but we must hold back our tears. Understand?” Just moments later, she broke down in tears herself.

When Min Ho later revealed that Jeong Suk had been crying, she tried to cover it up, claiming, “I wasn’t crying; something just got in my eye.” Do Hyun, however, smiled knowingly, clearly aware of the truth.

When it came time for Min Ho’s farewell gift, Jeong Suk expressed her gratitude with a heartfelt embrace, marking a bittersweet farewell.

On the day of Do Hyun’s departure, he shared that they might not be in touch for a while. Jeong Suk offered words of encouragement, saying, “It’s okay. Let’s both work hard and meet again when we’re even more successful.”

Geum Hee, his mother, cautiously reminded him, “Be careful while driving, and don’t skip your meals because you’re busy.”

With a smile, Do Hyun replied, “I’ll be careful. Thank you, Mother,” as he bid her farewell.

As the final accounting approached, CEO Kim (played by Ra Mi Ran) suddenly exited, disappearing without a trace. Visibly upset, Young Bok (played by Kim Sun Young) exclaimed, “They’re all scammers. The CEO must have been in on it, trying to deceive us.” Jeong Suk, meanwhile, was left feeling deeply disheartened by the situation.

But despite this major setback, Jeong Suk refused to give up. With the Direct Sales Sisters by her side, she opened a new adult products store called A Virtuous Business. The grand opening event saw the Sisters, their families, and even Do Hyun in attendance, celebrating the new venture.

When protesters gathered, rallying against what they viewed as an illicit business, Jeong Suk stood her ground, declaring, “If they try to stop us, we’ll find a way to rise above it, even if it takes time.”

The series concluded on an uplifting note, with Do Hyun smiling at Jeong Suk’s unwavering determination. Her strength and resolve gave viewers a powerful message of hope and perseverance.
