Mitsubishi has launched a limited edition of the Eclipse Cross Motorsports in Brazil, with only 100 units available. Based on the brand’s flagship crossover SUV, this special series brings a bold new look and enhanced performance to the Eclipse Cross lineup. It is aimed at fans of both style and driving excitement.

Since its global debut in 2017, the Eclipse Cross has garnered attention for blending SUV practicality with coupe-like aesthetics. The model features a body length of 4545 mm (178.9 inches), a width of 1805 mm (71.1 inches), and a height of 1685 mm (66.3 inches), with a wheelbase of 2670 mm (105.1 inches) and a ground clearance of 180 mm (7.1 inches), offering a balanced mix of driving performance and versatility.

Exterior Design Amplifies Rugged Appeal with Sporty Aesthetics

The Eclipse Cross Motorsports edition stands out with its striking matte black exterior, including matte gray body color, matte black fender protectors, and other exterior accents such as the front grille, rear bumper, spoiler, and door mirrors. These design elements emphasize the model’s rugged, sporty aesthetic. A THULE roof rack, included as standard, adds both practicality and style, making this special edition ready for adventure.

Created to mark the 30th anniversary of Brazil’s rally race, the Eclipse Cross Motorsports is based on the existing 4WD Eclipse Cross model, with additional design features and functions to elevate its sporty performance. With its bold exterior and roof rack, this model is designed to turn heads while offering exciting driving capabilities.

Brazil-Spec 1.5L Engine
Delivers 150 Horsepower

The Eclipse Cross Motorsports is equipped with a 1.5-liter inline 4-cylinder gasoline engine targeting the Brazilian market, generating a maximum output of 150 horsepower and a maximum torque of 240 Nm. The transmission is equipped with a CVT with an 8-speed manual mode, and the drive method can be selected between FWD and 4WD. This model does not apply to the Japanese PHEV (plug-in hybrid) specification.

Although this special edition does not feature a plug-in hybrid option, it provides excellent fuel efficiency and powerful engine performance. The 4WD system ensures confident handling across various terrains, whether navigating city streets or tackling more rugged paths.

Premium Interior and Advanced Features

In terms of interior design, it creates a neat and sophisticated atmosphere based on black tones. It is equipped with leather seats with heaters, a double sunroof, and the latest multimedia system, which are standard features, ensuring a comfortable drive for the driver.

In addition, Eclipse Cross Motorsports maintains the high-end specifications of the existing model while adding special appearance and functions to increase driving pleasure. This model has the latest convenience functions and a luxurious interior design, further enhancing driving satisfaction. The price is 228,990 Brazilian Reals, 9,000 Brazilian Reals higher than the existing model.
