Taemin’s official YouTube channel has been taken down following a hacking incident that his agency, BPM Entertainment, detected.

On Monday, the agency confirmed that signs of a hacking attempt were discovered on Taemin’s YouTube channel on Sunday. In their statement, BPM Entertainment explained, “After identifying the hacking attempt, we quickly took steps to recover the channel and reported the suspected hacker’s ID and related evidence to YouTube on Sunday morning.” However, by Monday afternoon, YouTube informed them that the channel was removed due to community guidelines violations. As of now, the channel remains inaccessible.

The agency further expressed regret, saying, “Despite our strong security measures—such as complex passwords, two-factor authentication, and strict security protocols—this unexpected situation still occurred. We sincerely apologize to fans for any inconvenience and distress this may have caused.”

BPM Entertainment reassured fans that they are actively working to resolve the issue, stating, “We are in discussions with YouTube to find a quick resolution. Both parties constantly communicate to clarify the situation and restore the channel immediately. Given the repeated hacking attempts on Taemin’s YouTube channel, we will take strong legal action, including filing a police report.”

BPM Entertainment is a subsidiary of One Hundred, a company founded by rapper and producer MC Mong. In addition to Taemin, the label represents artists such as Lee Seung Gi, VIVIZ, and Lee Mu Jin.

Recently, One Hundred has also strongly opposed malicious comments aimed at its artists. On Saturday, the company warned: “We take any acts of defamation, spreading false information, or personal attacks against our artists very seriously. We will continue to monitor posts and comments and take legal action where necessary.”
