Yoo In Na bans IU from cleaning after a hilarious on-air moment.

On Thursday, K-pop sensation and actress IU appeared as a guest on Yoo In Na’s YouTube channel, You In Radio, during the segment “Someone I’ll Meet.” The two friends shared a lighthearted conversation, and one topic quickly became the episode’s highlight.

During the show, Yoo In Na asked IU a playful question: Would she prefer to wash dishes or cook if given the choice? IU responded without hesitation, saying, “I’d definitely choose washing dishes. I really hope you’ll let me do that.” However, Yoo In Na quickly shot her down, responding, “Absolutely not,” prompting IU to laugh and add, “Here we go again with this topic.”

The conversation turned humorous when Yoo In Na shared a funny (slightly frustrating) story about IU’s past cleaning attempts. “I’ve cooked for IU quite a few times,” she said. “Once, I gave her a chance to clean up, and the next day, I found that she had thrown away some of the dishes!”

IU immediately clarified, “There might have been some misunderstanding. I didn’t throw away a big dish. It was a really tiny one. I don’t even know why I did it, but while I was cleaning, I must have thought it was so small that it was meant to be tossed.”

Yoo In Na expressed her frustration over one dish lost in the process. “It was one of my favorite dishes, the one I used to eat almonds,” she said. “I had even polished the table until it gleamed. And then, the next day, it was gone.”

IU apologized and responded, “It was a beautiful and cute dish you treasured.” Still hurt, Yoo In Na smiled and said, “Since then, for the past eight years, I’ve begged her not to clean up.” IU playfully teased her, saying, “She’s been telling me this story for eight years without missing a single detail,” which had everyone laughing.

The mood lightened further when IU praised Yoo In Na’s cooking. “I genuinely love your cooking,” IU said. “When I was sick, you made me porridge, and I’ve tried your homemade kimchi. I’ve tasted everything, and honestly, it’s delicious.”

But when asked to pick her favorite dish, IU hesitated momentarily, causing more laughter. “I wasn’t prepared for that question,” she admitted, thinking for a moment before finally exclaiming, “Kimchi soup!”
