For the first time, Samsung Electronics’ Galaxy S24 series surpassed the initial satisfaction rate of the latest iPhone. The Galaxy S24 series is receiving the highest rating among all series released after the S20.
According to the IT product comparison platform PerfectRec on the 14th, 91% of buyers gave the highest rating in the satisfaction evaluation for the Galaxy S24, and 88% of buyers gave the highest rating for the Galaxy S24 Ultra model. This result showed an increase of 16% and 8% compared to 75% and 82% of the buyers who gave the highest rating to the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Ultra, respectively. PerfectRec’s survey is based on Google research and compiled from actual product buyers’ reviews.
The initial satisfaction rate of the Galaxy S24 series is also significantly higher than the initial scores of Apple’s “iPhone 15 series”. According to PerfectRec’s data, as of September, when the iPhone 15 series was released, 77% gave the iPhone 15 Pro Max the highest rating. For iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, and iPhone 15 Pro, 68.2%, 70%, and 73.5% of the consumers gave the highest scores, respectively.
The factors that lowered the satisfaction rate of the iPhone 15 series were complaints about overheating, battery life, small upgrade range, and protruding camera parts.
PerfectRec stated, “Reviews from early adopters of the iPhone tend to be more negative than reviews from general users,” and added, “The satisfaction rate for the Galaxy S24 may change over time as well”.
