According to a report by Alphabiz on the 19th, Apple has finally decided to start selling the 2027 model foldable iPhone from September to October 2026.
The number of foldable phones that Apple expects to sell is reported to be around 50 million units on a global scale. To achieve this, it is known that Apple has recently restructured its workforce.
A source acquainted with Apple’s internal operations informed Alphabiz of a significant shift within the company. This move has seen a notable portion of the team previously dedicated to the Vision Pro project being redirected to work on developing a foldable phone. The informant suggested that barring any unforeseen developments, Apple is poised to launch this innovative foldable phone by September 2026.
In February, Apple launched the Vision Pro spatial computer for the first time in six years, but it is on the path of failure, leading to returns by users.
Apple has conveyed that it is not in a position to officially respond to inquiries regarding its product development, launch schedules, or any changes within its workforce.
