Zuckerberg’s visit to Korea is the first in nearly 10 years since June 2013.

At that time, he visited Korea for a 1-night, 2-day schedule and met with then-President Park Geun Hye and then-Vice Chairman Lee Jae Yong of Samsung Electronics.

The exact schedule of Zuckerberg’s visit to Korea has not been confirmed, but it is widely known that he will likely meet with Chairman Lee Jae Yong of Samsung Electronics again this time.

Given the global surge in generative AI, and as big tech companies focus on securing AI semiconductors, the two are likely to discuss issues related to generative AI business, including the supply of AI semiconductors.
