Easter eggs have been found throughout Ford vehicles
What are these hidden details that even owners might not know about?

Ford vehicles are known for their excellent driving performance and exterior design, and the Easter eggs hidden throughout the car tell the story of the brand’s heritage. Nick Eterovic, the interior design manager for the next-gen Ranger and Everest, describes these Easter eggs as “a way for customers to learn about the vehicle and communicate with the designers.”

This article will discuss the various Easter eggs hidden in Ford vehicles and what they symbolize. These Easter eggs offer another way to enjoy Ford vehicles. So, what kind of Easter eggs can be found in these cars?

The first Easter egg is hidden in the mid-size SUV Everest. This model’s rear window has graphics of mountain ranges and skyscrapers.

Eterovic explains, “The mountain and skyscraper graphics represent Everest’s capability to satisfy the desire for adventure and escape from the city.” He also shared his impression, noting that “it’s striking how these two graphics come into view whenever you look in the rearview mirror.”

The second Ford Easter egg is hidden in the 7th generation all-new Ford Mustang, launched in Korea in February.

In this model, you can find various Easter eggs that honor the Mustang’s heritage.

The running wild horse logo, symbolizing the Mustang, is found on the engine grille, dashboard, wheels, and brakes, enhancing the Mustang’s dynamic appeal. Moreover, inside the lid of the air filter box in the engine room, all the Mustang V8 engine displacements are engraved along with the V8 engine logo, symbolizing Ford’s efforts to implement high performance across all generations of the Mustang.

Silhouettes of Mustangs from the 1st to the 7th generation are drawn on the lower part of the rear window of the 7th-generation Mustang.

From the stylish appearance of the 1st generation, which was explosively popular among young people at the time, to the simple and linear image of the 3rd generation and the dynamic image of the 5th generation that is characteristic of modern Mustangs, the distinctive designs of each generation of Mustang are intuitively depicted, allowing you to see their evolution. Moreover, you can find the silhouette of the 7th generation Mustang on the upper right tail light, further highlighting the Mustang’s unique character through various Easter eggs.

Eterovic expressed his gratitude, saying, “I appreciate that the Ford design team offers customers more fun through Easter eggs, beyond just designing functional elements like cup holder placements and temperature controls,” and added, “I hope customers will continue to enjoy discovering these hidden symbols.”
