The world’s largest lingerie brand
Victoria’s Secret has chosen model Choi Sora to walk their runway
Choi Sora has been selected as a model for the fashion show of the famous American lingerie brand Victoria’s Secret. On August 30th, Victoria’s Secret released a confident and charismatic video of Choi Sora on their official account.
Previously, the models who walked the runway were referred to as angels, and top models such as Gisele Bündchen, Tyra Banks, Gigi Hadid, and Kendall Jenner have all walked the runway.
As mentioned earlier, Victoria’s Secret used to market with so-called “angels” who had a Barbie-like figure. Still, due to public opinion that unrealistic body shapes are not desirable, they discontinued the fashion show in 2019.
Instead, they announced changes such as using female ambassadors with diverse backgrounds, and after a four-year reorganization, they will present a new fashion show called The Tour23.
The name of the models, previously called Angels, has been changed to VC Collective, and Choi Sora has made a new record as the first Korean model to walk Victoria’s Secret runway.
On September 26th, at The Tour23, not only Choi Sora but also famous celebrities such as Dua Lipa, Hailey Bieber, Gigi Hadid, and Adriana Lima will walk together, once again showcasing the grandeur of the world’s largest lingerie brand.
