Actor Ma Dong Seok (aka Don Lee) and Ye Jung Hwa’s Wedding
Shared the Reason for Holding a Ceremony After 3 Years
During an Interview for “The Roundup: Punishment”
Actor Don Lee has revealed why he is holding a belated wedding ceremony.
Lee, gearing up for the release of his movie The Roundup: Punishment, spoke to the press on April 18. With a wedding planned for next month, Lee shed light on the reason behind the delayed ceremony. “While my main concern is my wife’s well-being, we decided to have a small, private ceremony for my parents,” he revealed.
Lee and Ye Jung Hwa have been openly dating since 2016, and it is known that they started their married life after registering their marriage in 2021.
This was revealed when Lee referred to Ye as his wife after receiving an award at the 12th Beautiful Artist Awards in 2022, and they received congratulations.
Well-wishes poured in as Lee announced a wedding ceremony. Fans were excited about the nuptials, which were delayed by COVID-19 and scheduling conflicts.
On the same day, Lee mentioned his “The Roundup: Punishment” co-star Park Ji Hwan, who is also holding a wedding ceremony around the same time. When asked if he would receive a bouquet, he joked, “Do men receive bouquets? I’m not sure,” causing laughter.
Lee wears many hats beyond acting. He actively participated in planning and scripting and starred in the upcoming film The Roundup: Punishment.
The Roundup: Punishment is a story about a monstrous detective, Ma Seok Do (played by Don Lee), who confronts a villain, Baek Chang Gi (played by Kim Moo Yeol), a former special forces mercenary who operates a large-scale illegal online gambling organization, and IT industry genius CEO Jang Dong Chul (played by Lee Dong Hwi).
