joynews24 Views

BLACKPINK marked a glorious conclusion in Seoul, drawing an audience of 1.8 million spectators.

On September 16th and 17th, BLACKPINK successfully concluded their BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK] FINALE IN SEOUL at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul.

The two-day concert sold out all 35,000 seats, making BLACKPINK the record holder among K-pop girl groups for their world tour. It spanned 34 cities worldwide, totaling 66 performances and attracting 1.8 million attendees.

As it was a significant moment, marking the end of their journey, the atmosphere was filled with intense excitement. BLACKPINK heated the stage with consecutive performances of “Pink Venom,” “How You Like That,” and “Pretty Savage,” instantly raising the temperature in the venue. They continued to electrify the audience with a medley of mega-hit songs and solo stages that showcased each member’s unique talents.

BLACKPINK solidified as a global artist and demonstrated their charisma on stage. Their performances were flawlessly executed, and their seasoned stage presence, honed through their world tour, shone brightly. The audience responded with passionate sing-alongs, cheers, and waves of pink support lightsticks.

The production quality, encompassing the essence of the entire tour, also captured attention. The stage was embellished with a dazzling array of LED graphics, lasers, fireworks, and flame effects, creating an unmatched synergy with the members’ auras.

Stunning stage settings, inspired by Korean beauty, added an extra layer of uniqueness. A traditional Korean-style tile roof set, meticulously crafted with more care than their previous performance at Coachella in April, delighted the eyes with various colors. Jisoo’s solo stage, “FLOWER,” and dance performances, such as “Typa Girl,” which incorporated the use of fans, seamlessly blended with the music, creating thrilling moments.

As they looked back on their journey, BLACKPINK shared unforgettable memories. The members were happy, saying, “We are delighted to be able to start in Seoul and decorate the finale in Seoul again a year later.” They added, “Although the tour has ended, we feel that Blinks (the fandom) and BLACKPINK will be forever united. We will continue to be a fantastic BLACKPINK in the future,” their eyes brimming with emotion.

BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK] FINALE IN SEOUL will be available for a delayed streaming experience. On October 24th at noon (Korean time), it will be held on Weverse Concert. For more details, you can visit YG’s official website and Weverse.
