BTS’s RM recently shared a personal update that gave a glimpse into his military life.
RM shared a photo on social media on February 24, posing alongside fellow soldiers. The picture captured the camaraderie amongst the group, with RM’s features drawing positive attention.
The photo sparked positive reactions from fans, with many expressing relief at seeing RM seemingly well-adjusted to his service. Some lightheartedly noted the potential reason for his comfortable integration: his short hairstyle, which remained similar even before enlistment. Additionally, the photo hinted at RM’s position within his unit, as most soldiers around him appear to hold higher ranks.
Earlier on February 16, a photo surfaced on social media showing RM in a red uniform playing the saxophone. The individual who shared the photo claimed to have seen him at a friend’s military graduation ceremony. Reports suggest RM is currently assigned to the military band stationed at the 15th Infantry Division in Gangwon Province’s Hwacheon County.
Both RM and fellow BTS member V earned recognition upon completing their basic military training, graduating as Top Trainees. This distinction is awarded to soldiers demonstrating exceptional performance in physical fitness and marksmanship evaluations.
RM is to conclude his mandatory service after roughly 1 year and 4 months. His anticipated discharge date is June 10, 2025. Fans express their well wishes for a healthy and successful completion of his service.
