In a humorous display on Bada’s YouTube channel, “Such a Precious Person in a Precious Place,” Sandara Park regaled viewers with tales of a “wedding” and a “KRW 30 billion income,” highlighting her quick wit.

2NE1’s Sandara Park joined Bada on her YouTube channel on March 8. Their conversation sparked discussions online as Sandara shared humorous anecdotes about Bada’s wedding, a supposed 30 billion won income, and even their MBTI personality types.

Sandara kicked off the conversation by mentioning the constant inquiries she receives about “the wedding story.” Bada’s unconventional approach involved creating a group chat for the wedding guests, something she humorously termed a “pre-wedding meeting.” Sandara shared that this group chat wasn’t your usual wedding guest list. Bada, determined to get everyone acquainted beforehand, invited 50 celebrities to the group chat, leaving Sandara surprised.

Recalling the experience, Sandara admitted she was considerably shyer back then. Her heart fluttered with nervousness and excitement as she saw 50 names of celebrities popping up in the group chat. Further adding to her initial confusion, Sandara confessed she couldn’t distinguish who was who. Amidst the awkward silence, this message broke the ice: “Hello. I’m a member of BTS.” The culprit behind the playful joke, easing the tension, was comedian Yang Se Hyung.

Despite the initial awkwardness in the group chat, Sandara shared her experience at Bada’s pre-wedding party. Feeling out of place, she described the scene: “Imagine a long, grand table filled with celebrities.” She further elaborated, mentioning familiar faces like EXO’s Suho and Rainbow’s Jisook, people she’d only encountered at work on music shows. The pre-wedding party was a testament to Bada’s extensive star-studded network.

Sandara described Bada’s efforts to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for her fellow celebrities. Bada’s jovial spirit shone through as she greeted everyone with a friendly, “Looking forward to us all getting along!” Adding to the fun, the restaurant even had a karaoke machine, and Bada took center stage to belt out a few tunes for her colleagues. “This is how you do corporate events, everyone! Watch and learn; having fun is the secret to a long career.” This anecdote perfectly captured Bada’s persona as a talented singer and a charismatic individual who knows how to have a good time.

Bada playfully addressed a persistent rumor about Sandara’s earnings during their 2NE1 days. She jokingly inquired, “Remember that rumor about you making KRW 30 billion? Can you clarify?” Sandara responded, “That rumor went viral! But let me assure you, it’s false. I never even came close to seeing that kind of money.” To add a touch of humor, Park shared a fun anecdote: “We spent a lot of money on our stage outfits as 2NE1. We managed to outspend Big Bang on costumes! We were on the YG accounting team’s watchlist. Our team had significant expenses, so our earnings weren’t nearly as high as people might think. I barely had any control over my finances back then.”

More of Sandara and Bada’s conversations about exercise, the difference between solo and group activities, and new acting endeavors can be viewed on Bada’s “Such a Precious Person in a Precious Place” YouTube channel.
