Actor Kim Joo Ryoung Joins Cast of “Queen of Tears” as Grace Go
Renowned actress Kim Joo Ryoung from “Squid Game” makes a captivating return to television in the new tvN drama, “Queen of Tears,” which airs on Saturdays and Sundays in Korea.
Kim Joo Ryoung’s comeback drama, “Queen of Tears,” delves into the tumultuous challenges and a hopeful rekindling of love in a three-year marriage. The story centers around Hong Hae In, a chaebol heiress and heir apparent to the Queens Group department store empire, and Baek Hyun Woo, the son of a prominent supermarket owner.
Kim Joo Ryoung plays the role of Grace Go in “Queen of Tears.” Grace Go is a figure who once served as the link between the well-off families and is now standing in the center of the Queen’s family while concealing her true intentions.
Viewers can catch the first two episodes of “Queen of Tears” to see Kim Joo Ryoung’s intriguing performance.
Grace Go shares opposing chemistry with the character Hong Hae In, portrayed by actress Kim Ji Won.
She spotted Hong Hae In, someone who could prove her worth, and asked Hong Hae In how she was with a friendly smile. However, as she was met with only a cold response from Hong Hae-in, she failed to conceal the momentary stiffening of his gaze and expression, which heightened the tension in the drama.
Grace Go becomes the main culprit for confusing Baek Hyun Woo (played by Kim Soo Hyun)’s heart. She goes to Baek Hyun Woo and shares the will that Hong Hae In used before marriage, leading to an exciting development in the series.
Kim Joo Ryoung perfectly portrayed Grace Go with a mysterious inner side contrary to her elegant appearance through her gaze, expression, and gestures, making the series much more engaging.
Fans are excited and looking forward to Kim Joo Ryoung’s other projects as “Queen of Tears” develops.
