Japanese model Miyu Ikeda ignited debate with her recent comments on a television show, claiming it’s permissible for a partner to cheat up to three times.
Ikeda appeared on AbemaTV’s “High Teen Bible” on March 18 and shared her view on relationships. She admittedly is open to forgiving a partner’s infidelity.
During the show, Ikeda sparked controversy with her unique perspective on infidelity. She stated it’s acceptable for a partner to cheat with up to three different people, but emphasized that these affairs should be one-time occurrences. When challenged by comedian Komiya Hironobu, who suggested cheating with just one person might be better, Ikeda remained firm in her stance, reiterating her three-person limit.
The show tackled what constitutes cheating, with several cast members offering their boundaries. Some viewed social media interactions as infidelity, citing things like exchanging messages, private chats, or even following someone on social media.
