Comedian Jo Jin Se made a strong impression with his singing and comedic skills during his performance on “Masked Singer.

On the episode of MBC’s entertainment program Masked Singer, aired on March 24, Jo performed “Fly Like a Butterfly,” captivating the audience with his unexpected singing talent.

Jo competed in a singing duel against “Stings Like a Bee” by delivering a heartfelt rendition of Lee Seung Gi’s “Delete.” His nuanced and melodious voice captivated the audience, judges, and viewers alike.

Jo’s smooth yet distinctive voice drew the audience and judges further into his performance.

Judge Kim Hyung Seok praised Jo’s singing ability, saying, “His voice is good enough to be a singer.” December’s DK agreed, saying, “He has a natural voice and tone that would have made him a great singer.”

Yu Young Seok praised him, stating, “His powerful vocals completely envelop the space, creating an immersive experience like a warm bathhouse.”

Jo, who drew attention with his unexpected singing talent, dominated the stage by showcasing his natural comedic talent, from the Tiger Butterfly dance to a vocal imitation of Uhm Yong-soo’s “Night Peanut.” Although “Stings Like a Bee” defeated him, he had more than enough opportunity to showcase his exceptional singing talent.

Jo, who surprised everyone with his impressive vocals, proved himself to be a multi-talented performer. He captivated the audience with his singing and showcased his comedic abilities through a series of entertaining acts, including the Tiger Butterfly dance and a hilarious vocal impersonation of comedian Uhm Yong Soo while singing “Bam Yang Gang.” Though he didn’t ultimately win the competition, Jo’s exceptional singing talent was undeniably on display throughout.

Before unmasking, Jo prepared an additional performance of IZI’s “Emergency Room” before unmasking, demonstrating his explosive vocal talent until the end. He drew attention by sharing, “My dream and goal is to become a comedian who can greet people comfortably, like a neighborhood brother.”

Jo is a famous comedian who leads the YouTube channel Short Box, which has 2.88 million subscribers. He is loved for his roles in dramas like Useless Lies and Rookie Seasons 1 and 2, where he is recognized for his versatile acting skills.

Recently, he played the role of Jo in the popular drama “Marry My Husband,” capturing attention with his flavorful performance.

Jo splashed in living rooms with his unexpected singing talent on “Masked Singer” and continues to be active in various fields, including entertainment, dramas, and YouTube.
