Ruby Lin’s social media
Taiwanese actress Ruby Lin has sparked much interest by sharing her views on her children getting tattoos and piercings.
Foreign media outlet 8 World reported on March 26 that Ruby Lin is positive about her children getting tattoos and piercings.
While attending a charity event, Lim Shim Yeoh shared, “My daughter is 7 years old and has an exceptional sense of aesthetics. She has her firm standards,” and added, “I don’t mind if my daughter gets a tattoo or piercing. As long as she can take responsibility for her actions, there’s no problem.” She confessed her tattoo experience, saying, “I have a tattoo near my ankle. When my mom found out, I lied and said it was a sticker.”
At a charity event, Lin spoke openly about her daughter’s individuality. “She’s only 7,” Lim shared, “but she has a strong sense of style and knows what she likes. That comes with definite opinions, too!” Lim emphasized her belief in personal responsibility, stating, “Whether it’s a tattoo or a piercing, as long as she can make responsible choices, I’m supportive.” She added a touch of humor by confessing, “I have a tattoo near my ankle. When my mom found out, I lied and said it was a sticker.”
Lin further stated, “My daughter’s future will be determined by her choices, not mine,” emphasizing her respect for her daughter’s decisions.
Lin also revealed her daughter’s diverse swimming, drawing, and piano talents, adding, “I encourage her to explore her passions at her own pace.”
Lin also beamed about her daughter’s musical side. “Playing the piano is her favorite!” she revealed. “She’s been diligently taking lessons once a week since she was just four years old.” This dedication speaks volumes about her daughter’s passion. Lim added with pride, “She even gets a real sense of accomplishment from playing, and sometimes she even tries to teach me a thing or two!”
Ruby Lin married Chinese actor Wallace Huo (44) in 2016. She received many congratulations when she gave birth to her daughter a year later, in 2017.
