Visiting Starbucks, Japanese celebrity Nozomi Kawasaki was surprised by the cost of her visit.
On April 5, Kawasaki shared a blog post on Ameba about a recent visit to Starbucks in Nakameguro, Tokyo. The post mentioned enjoying the cherry blossoms with her family while relaxing on the Starbucks terrace.
Kawasaki posted several photos at the Starbucks, revealing seven kinds of desserts and four types of coffees. She wrote, “We enjoyed the cherry blossom viewing at Starbucks. Our snacks for Nakameguro’s cherry blossoms with Starbucks drinks!”
The Nakameguro Starbucks that Kawasaki and her family visited was a Starbucks Reserve Roastery, equipped with a roasting machine and also serves alcohol. Kawasaki noted on her blog that this particular Starbucks location offered a menu different from what she’d experienced at other Starbucks locations. “The prices are very high. The food and drinks cost about $85, and the pizza bread was about $10,” expressing her surprise at the expensive prices.
Kawasaki, who enjoyed an outing at the terrace seating, also revealed the cost of the terrace seating. She explained, “For the terrace seating, an adult has to pay about $18. We spent about $72 just for the terrace seating,” and “Children are free.”
“In total, we spent about $157. It was the most expensive Starbucks,” she concluded.
Nozomi Kawasaki is a former member of the representative Japanese idol group AKB48. Since leaving the group, she has focused on her business and made a name for herself as a businesswoman.
Kawasaki has had one child under her care since her marriage in 2013.
