The Taiwanese entertainment industry is in turmoil over the TV personality Mickey Huang scandal.

Huang has been indicted on charges of purchasing and possessing underage explicit videos, and amidst this, a second victim has come forward alleging that Huang sexually assaulted her. The first victim, female star Zofia, revealed last June that Huang had sexually harassed her. Zofia claimed that she experienced the horrifying incident when she was 17 years old, and subsequently, Huang was summoned to the Taipei District Prosecutor’s Office and paid bail of approximately $12,500.

On April 7, Zofia revealed a conversation she had with another victim of Huang, referred to as Ms. K. Ms. K confessed that she was sexually assaulted by Huang in 2006 when she was 17 years old. She stated that Huang came to her house asking to take photos for an exhibition. Ms. K said she couldn’t easily refuse and felt grateful for the opportunity.

Upon arriving at the agreed-upon location, Ms. K changed into a swimsuit as directed by Huang. She claimed that during the photo shoot, Huang got increasingly closer and insisted she wear a more revealing bikini. Ms. K then revealed that Huang exposed himself and touched her inappropriately before sexually assaulting her.

In light of Ms. K’s sexual assault allegations, the situation has become more complex as a man claiming to be Ms. K’s ex-boyfriend has come forward. The man alleged that “Ms. K asked for a lot of money while we were dating. She even asked for over approximately $71,500.”

He stated, “Ms. K wanted me to support her in breaking into the entertainment industry to produce an album, but I didn’t want her to choose this path. However, Ms. K insisted there was a means to realize her dream and said she could produce the album for free through Huang. What was more shocking was that Ms. K suggested we take photos together and swindle money from Huang. I truly loved Ms. K but couldn’t accept such an immoral act.”

The man said he decided to break up with Ms. K after discovering she saw other men.

Huang has deactivated all of his social media accounts. He married actress Summer Maeng in 2020 and welcomed a daughter in 2022.

Despite having a young daughter, Huang is facing charges of sexual assault, sexual harassment, and possession of underage explicit materials. According to local reports, Huang had hundreds of explicit videos involving underage girls.
