Singer IU successfully concluded her concert in Taiwan, during which it was revealed that the child of Terry Gou, the founder of the Taiwanese company Foxconn, performed as one of her dancers.
On April 11, ETtoday reported that Terry Gou’s 13-year-old daughter, Niu Niu, took the stage as a dancer at IU’s Taiwan concert, and Guo’s wife, Delia Tseng, was also in attendance.
IU’s H.E.R. world tour hit the Taiwan Arena on April 6-7. The concert started with a bang as IU performed the opening song, “Holssi,” alongside 12 energetic child dancers.
Niu Niu was among the 13 dazzling young dancers who shared the stage with IU for the opening number “Holssi.” Clad in a pink top and jeans, Niu Niu captivated the audience with her impressive dance skills. Though only 13, her confident stage presence and well-balanced physique stole the spotlight.
Delia Tseng visited the concert to support her daughter. Before taking the stage, she passionately joined the child dancers, shouting their rallying cry.
Delia Tseng previously shared clips of Niu Niu dancing to K-pop songs on social media. Niu Niu has covered choreography for songs like Jeon Somi’s “What You Waiting For” and BLACKPINK’s “How You Like That.”
Foxconn, founded by Niu Niu’s father, Terry Guo, is a Taiwanese computer and electronic device manufacturer and the world’s largest EMS company. As of 2018, its sales were approximately $7.2 trillion. Foxconn is famous for assembling Apple’s iPhone. Niu Niu’s mother is known as a tango instructor.
IU plans to continue her first world tour concert H.E.R. in Singapore, Hong Kong, the U.K., the U.S., and Japan, among other places.
