A dating rumor storm is swirling around 42-year-old actress Yumi Adachi. She’s been linked to 31-year-old actor Katsuhiro Suzuki, but things get complicated. She’s also been keeping in touch with her ex-husband, 45-year-old photographer Tomoki Kuwajima, who is buzzing people.
On April 16, the foreign media outlet released photos of Adachi and Kuwajima together on Friday, reporting that the two are still on very good terms despite their divorce last year.
Adachi and Kuwajima were seen visiting an antique shop in Tokyo last month. The released photos show Adachi and Kuwajima chatting intimately, making it hard to believe they are divorced. The pair appeared entirely unconcerned about their surroundings.
Upon leaving the shop, Kuwajima was seen taking photos of Adachi leaning against a wall, showcasing his photographer side. Adachi posted what appears to be a photo taken by Kuwajima on her social media, where she is seen smiling brightly and brushing her hair back.
Adachi was swept up in dating rumors with actor Suzuki on April 13. At the time, media outlets reported, “The two first met in a play and developed into lovers.” Both Adachi and Suzuki’s agencies denied the dating rumors.
Despite the agencies’ denial, Japanese viewers are convinced of the pair’s romance. Viewers commented, “Adachi denied the rumors because she recently got divorced. The two are dating. “They will naturally admit to dating as time passes. “Is this a rebound?”
Meanwhile, Yumi Adachi married Tomoki Kuwajima in 2014. Roughly ten years into their marriage, on December 28 of last year, Adachi announced her divorce via social media.
