BTS’s V has been making headlines with his recent updates during his military service.
He currently serves in the 2nd Infantry Division and appeared in a YouTube video on April 17.
V is seen with his fellow soldiers, dressed in military police combat uniform in the military-related video.
In the released video, V is seen participating in urban combat shooting training, donning a military uniform with an army police patch, and exhibiting a commanding presence.
His ability to skillfully handle firearms and hit targets captivated fans.
V has also recently shared updates through Instagram.
“I’m doing well, staying fit, wearing cool black uniforms, and undergoing excellent training. I took a short break to celebrate my producer’s birthday and had fun with my friends, reminiscing about the military. I’m currently working out hard and weigh 165 pounds (75 kg), but the soldiers in our unit are so fit that I need to work even harder. I’ll do my best. Bye for now.”
Contrary to his idol days, his bulked-up appearance has been attracting attention.
V applied and was accepted to the Special Duty Team (SDT) of the Capital Defense Command last year. Since February, he has served in the 2nd Infantry Division in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province.
