Peggy Yang’s Emotional Mother’s Day Message: Divorce and Gratitude

TV Report Views

Taiwanese actress Peggy Yang, who started her career as a child actor, has made the headlines by sharing a heartfelt letter to her mother for Mother’s Day and her divorce simultaneously.

Peggy Yang casually announced her divorce through social media. She left a letter to her mother in commemoration of Mother’s Day.

Yang shared several photos, including pictures from her childhood and ones taken with her mother. She expressed her sincerity by saying, “Happy Mother’s Day. How did Mom go from being a playful girl to a supermom? My mom has done amazing things since I became a part of her life.”

She also thanked her mother for “encouraging me to grow and develop, caring for my future, and blessing and supporting me in everything.” She added, “When I was a child star, mom was my manager. She protected me from the storm and made me a popular star in the entertainment industry.”

Yang recalled, “My mom accepted my rebelliousness in college and silently protected and disciplined me. After marriage, she understood everything I went through, and I asked her many questions. My mom became my closest friend.”

At this point, she left a hint about her divorce by saying, “Then, the hardest time for me came. I couldn’t have a smooth married life, which greatly hurt Mom. I’m sorry. But at the same time, I’ve grown a lot, and this is good for me.”

She added, “I’m most sorry to mom for getting married,” and “Our beloved mom. My mom has to be healthy and always protect me by my side. I’m always thankful for mom’s good health,” expressing her feelings.

Finally, Yang concluded her post by commemorating Mother’s Day and expressing her love for her mother.

Peggy Yang, who debuted at the age of 7, has appeared in over 150 advertisements since then. She married Son Jacho in July 2021. Her representative works include the dramas My Whispering Plan and Wit Campus Life.
