Taiwanese model Shania Sung (38) has opened up about an incident involving her ex-boyfriend, revealing that she felt like a mistress due to the intimate relationship between her ex and his mother.
On May 20th, China Daily reported that Sung shared an incident with her ex-boyfriend on a Taiwanese entertainment show. Sung reminisced about her time with her ex, sharing, “There was a time when my ex-boyfriend asked me to answer his phone for him. I happened to see a text message on my ex’s phone that said, ‘Honey, we’re having dinner at 7 tonight.'”
Due to the affectionate nickname “honey,” Sung suspected her ex of cheating. She admitted, “When I confronted him, he said it was his mother who called him ‘honey.'”
Sung shared that she later visited her ex’s house and met his mother. She said, “I went to his house and saw his mother calling him ‘honey.’ When I tried to go into the room with my boyfriend, his mother said, ‘It’s scary to be alone, so don’t close the door.'” She kept calling her son “honey,” revealing her exhaustion with her ex’s mother.
Sung confessed, “I felt like I was a mistress caught between my boyfriend and his mother.” The cast was unable to hide their surprise at Sung’s shocking revelation. Unable to understand the relationship between her boyfriend and his mother, Sung eventually broke up with him.
Many people empathized with her feelings, acknowledging that it must have been tough.
Sung debuted as a model after being selected in the top 10 at a model selection competition in 2006. She stands tall at approximately 5 feet 11 inches.
