BTS member Jin will appear on his first variety show, “I’m Glad You Got a Good Rest,” after his military discharge.
According to MBC, Jin completed filming for the show on July 1, and the broadcast date has yet to be determined.
“I’m Glad You Got a Good Rest,” the sequel to “Buddy Into the Wild,” is a reality show that documents Ahn Jung Hwan and his guests’ construction of a desert island.
Jin completed his military service as a member of the 5th Infantry Division in Yeoncheon County, Gyeonggi Province, on June 12 and celebrated BTS’s 11th debut anniversary by attending the 2024 FESTA with fans.
Jin held a free hug event at the 2024 FESTA to greet fans but was unfortunately met with several incidents of sexual harassment, such as unwanted kisses.
Jin stayed positive despite the turn of events, sharing his upcoming plans through the fan communication platform Weverse. “I am working on the plans I made while serving in the military, recording new music and filming for variety shows. I’ll try to show my face as much as possible while focusing on my music. I appreciate your patience and hope to show you the results in a few months,” he shared.
