Former TVXQ Star Reveals Fan Snuck Into His Bed

Former TVXQ member, singer, and actor Kim Jaejoong is creating a buzz with his new song, “Don’t.” The song describes his encounters with “sasaengs,” also known as obsessive fans.

On June 26, Kim Jaejoong’s album FLOWER GARDEN was released to commemorate the 20th anniversary of his debut. The song “Don’t” on the album tracklist is gaining attention for candid lyrics about obsessive fans.

While “Don’t” is a lighthearted track that complements Kim Jaejoong’s voice, the content of the lyrics shares a darker story.

The lyrics written by Kim Jaejoong himself express his struggles with obsessive fans, and the song showcases how he can tackle a heavy subject with professionalism.

Kim Jaejoong introduced the “Don’t’ Challenge,” using simple choreography to express the lyrics, “I shouldn’t have answered your call, I cried hearing your voice.”

Other celebrities have joined the challenge, from comedian Park Myung Soo to Danaka (Kim Kyung Wook). Kim Jaejoong, the Chief Strategy Officer of his agency ENCODE, created the challenge himself.

While “Don’t” goes viral for its catchy tune and pointed lyrics, Kim Jaejoong appeared on MBC’s Midnight Horror Story yesterday and shared his scary experiences with obsessive fans, stating, “I probably suffered the most from obsessive fans in South Korea.”

He clarified a rumor that an obsessive fan found his home and held his hand, saying, “That’s not true. She didn’t hold my hand; it was a kiss.” This revealed even more startling details that were previously shared with the public.

He recalled the horrifying moment when he woke up to find a strange woman on top of him in his home. Believing it was a dream, he forced himself back to sleep. To everyone’s surprise, the woman was still there when he opened his eyes again. He then realized she was an obsessive fan who had broken into his house.

Kim Jaejoong revealed that someone had been trying to unlock his electronic keypad door lock nightly. When caught, the suspect confessed to the police that they wanted to feel close to Kim Jaejoong by pressing the same keypad he used every day.
