American singer Chris Brown has been sued for assaulting four spectators backstage at his concert.

According to Variety, Brown was sued for $50 million due to an incident backstage during his 11:11 tour concert last Friday.

Larry Parker, Joseph Lewis, Charles Bush, and Da Marcus Powell filed a lawsuit against Brown, the promoter of his concert tour in Harris County, Texas. The four plaintiffs also seek a temporary restraining order against all defendants and damages.

According to the complaint obtained by Variety, Brown and his staff severely beat the plaintiffs after the 11:11 tour performance at the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, that day.

After the concert, the four were invited backstage to meet Brown, who arrived 30 minutes later than expected. Bush approached Brown to congratulate him, but one of Brown’s associates reminded him of a past conflict between them. Brown then said, “Oh yeah, we were. What’s up, n—a? I don’t forget shit.” The complaint states that Brown and 7 to 10 of his associates assaulted Bush, punching him in the chest, and one associate threw a chair at his head.

The complaint alleges that Brown and his associates turned their attention to Parker, who tried to escape through a stairway leading to a locked door. Following Brown’s order, Parker was punched in the face and chest and kicked in the head for over 10 minutes. Powell was hit in the shoulder, while Lewis suffered blows to his shoulder and chest. All plaintiffs sustained injuries and are currently receiving treatment.

The plaintiffs’ attorney, Tony Buzbee, stated, “No one should have to endure what these clients endured. We will seek the maximum amount of damages allowed by law for this egregious conduct.”

Brown has a history of violent behavior. In 2009, he was convicted of assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna, and three years later, he had an altercation with Drake at a club in New York. In 2016, his former manager sued him for assault and battery, and a year later, his ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, obtained a five-year restraining order against him for threats.
