aespa’s Giselle shared several of her skincare secrets while answering various interview questions on the latest Elle Korea YouTube video “The source of ‘Giselle power’? # Giselle’s skincare is applying water on her breakouts? | ELLE KOREA”.

In response to the question, “Which language does Giselle use in her dreams—English, Japanese, or Korean?” Giselle, who is Japanese but speaks all three languages, answered, “I think it’s Korean since I’ve been in Korea for so long. I had a Korean dream last night, which was a bizarre dream. I was suddenly transported to another scene where everything was in Korean. I don’t remember the details.”

When asked whether Giselle has a skincare and haircare routine, she said she keeps her products in the fridge and frequently switches them up. She noted that if she feels a product isn’t working well, she changes it based on its effectiveness. She mentioned a strange tip: if something feels off or itchy, she applies drinking water and dabs it with her fingers. Also, she uses a heat-protectant product on her hair before drying it while it’s still wet.

In response to the question, “How can one have a ‘hot girl’ mindset like Giselle?” she confessed, “I don’t think I have a hot girl mindset. I’m not sure how to answer questions like that. I can’t say for sure, but I value efficiency in life, so maybe I’m more impatient?”

When asked, “How do you have the aespa members saved on your phone?” she replied, “First, I have Minjeong saved as ‘Yangsan Girl,’ Jimin as ‘Kim Dusty,’ and Ningning as ‘Ning Is War.’ Sometimes, we add a little note when we call each other’s nicknames. I think Ningning’s name is especially fun to say.”

When asked about her favorite word or phrase used to describe her, she said, “I like it when people say I have good vibes.”

aespa received a lot of love after releasing their first full album, Armageddon, last May.
