BTS Jimin showcased his global presence by placing #4 on the official UK singles chart with “Who,” the title track from his second solo album MUSE. This marks Jimin’s sixth time he’s landed on the charts as a solo artist, and “Who” holds the highest position to date.
Jimin entered the official chart last year with Taeyang’s “VIBE (feat. Jimin of BTS) at #96. Following this, his pre-release track “Set Me Free Pt.2” from his debut album FACE landed at #30, the title track “Like Crazy” landed at #8, and his feature on the Fast X soundtrack, “Angel Pt. 1 (feat. Jimin of BTS, JVKE & Muni Long) landed at #82. The pre-release track “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco) ranked #46.
“Who” topped several sub-charts, including Single Sales, Single Downloads, and Physical Single Sales, highlighting Jimin’s global dominance. MUSE reached #56 on the official album chart, marking Jimin’s first time on this chart as a solo artist. It ranked high in several categories, including #3 for Album Downloads and #14 for Album Sales.
Jimin’s popularity is also evident on the world’s largest music streaming platform, Spotify, where “Who” topped Spotify’s Weekly Top Songs Global chart released on July 26. The song held the #1 spot on the Daily Top Songs Global chart for three consecutive days from July 23 to 25.
MUSE climbed to #3 on the Weekly Top Albums Global chart and achieved #1 in the Weekly Top Albums in eight countries/regions, including Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. It also secured a spot in the top 10 of the Weekly Top Albums in 19 countries/regions.
Released on July 19, this album captures Jimin’s journey of seeking inspiration around the theme of “self.” Wanting to express his genuine thoughts and emotions on them, he participated in writing and composing six of the seven tracks. The title track, “Who,” is a hip-hop R&B song portraying the confusing but bittersweet longing of missing someone he has never met.
